I have a question on the puzzle "Repel the Invasion"
First off: wonderful puzzle. I love how effective the theme of pushing back attackers was. I fear I may be missing something on the break in. I'll do my best to pose the question without spoiling.
In the starting position there seemed to be two valid configurations. The one which turned out to be correct and that same configuration flipped on the horizontal axis. The starting position is symmetrical except for the arrow visible on R7C5 and R8C4. I don't see how that arrow disambiguates between the correct break in and those same first digits flipped on the horizontal axis. Could anyone help me see what I'm missing?
You're right. There are essentially two configurations that can be flipped horizontally. That should give you the digit in r9c5 though, and then using the maximums around it, that should give you another digit elsewhere. (let me know if that's not specific enough)
Ah, I see what I'd done. I had the digit on r9c5 settled but it was still just a pencil mark. I'd neglected to actually place it so I didn't see the change in the fog state that would have given me the disambiguation I needed. Silly of me. Thanks for the reply!
“Defend Your Castle” was a blast. Really liked the logic around placing the 2 in box 5.
what a fun themed set! the last sudoku was particularly satisfying 😍
fyi, I had to copy-paste the link for the castles puzzle, it wasn't hyperlinked

I figured it was something like that. Easy to do. :)
